Mrs. Aslan
My name is Nilgun Aslan. I’ve been teaching Preschool since 2004 and joined Pinnacle Academy family in 2011. I have several Early Child Education Certificates from George Mason University and hold CDA (Child Development Associate) Credential since 2013. I’m CPR, First Aid and MAT certified. I studied ceramics at Marmara University in Istanbul, Turkey. I love being around kids and educating them.
My main motto as a preschool teacher is; “My students may forget what I say or do, but they won’t forget how you make them feel.” I have two gorgeous sons. My elder son was a student here at Pinnacle. Now he is a senior at college. My youngest one is in sixth grade. We live in Virginia since 1997.
Hello everyone my name is Ximena Grijalva. This will be my second year at Pinnacle Academy as a teacher Assistant for the Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten class. I have 7 years of experience working with kids from ages of 3-12. I have been a lead teacher at a Montessori school for 2 years and also been a Pre-kindergarten lead teacher for 3 years. I have my North America Montessori Diploma now I am happy to be working on
my CDA.
On my free time, I love working on my school, spending time with my family and going to the library, shopping and traveling. I am very excited go back and teach my wonderful children. I can’t wait to see all the old and new faces. We are going to have the best school ever.
